Director of TechTogether Seattle 2020

In this cross-functional role, you’ll be leading a team of 6-12 students in the planning of TechTogether Seattle 2020, a hackathon focused on empowering gender-marginalized youth.

TechTogether hackathons are some of our biggest community engagement initiatives and continue to grow year over year. We’re looking for the right student to help us plan, organize, and execute a TechTogether hackathon in Seattle that will bring together 200 - 300 gender-marginalized students from across the city.

As the Director of TechTogether Seattle, you will be working with your team to help us introduce and engage gender-marginalized individuals in the hackathon and tech community.

The Job:

  • Drive planning project management and execution of TechTogether Seattle 2020
  • Build strong relationships with internal team members, companies, event vendors and local ecosystem stakeholders
  • Work with your team to manage the overall budget, resources, and logistics of the event
  • Collaborate with TechTogether to hit milestones and event diversity goals
  • Are available to work 5-7 hours a week
